Although Thailand does not currently have legislation to regulate electrical and electronic equipment waste (E-waste) in a systematic and sustainable manner, an E-Waste Management bill is currently underway of ongoing legislation. This bill targets general household appliances, televisions, air conditioners, computers, mobile phones, batteries, and other electronic devices. It will not allow the disposal of electronic waste in public places, unless permission is obtained or an exemption is applicable.
